1.) I’m not a user.

2.) “Meth” is a slang term for “methamphetamine.” Meth is NOT cocaine, but both drugs act as stimulants.

3.) Crack cocaine is cocaine that has chemicals added to it that end up turning the powdered cocaine into a more solid material that is then broken into little pieces called rocks. Crack cocaine is then smoked. The user actually puts the little rock into a pipe, holds a match or lighter flame to it, and inhales the fumes from the rock.

4.) Crack cocaine is MUCH MUCH more addictive than powdered cocaine. When crack cocaine is smoked it gets the user high very fast – pretty much immediately. It also wears off very quickly, certainly in less than an hour. The user then has an intense craving to smoke more crack.

5.) I have met people who abuse many drugs, but who swear they will never again touch crack cocaine. They consider crack cocaine to be so horribly addictive that even a person who uses drugs a lot can not possibly control himself or herself when smoking crack.

6.) I have met many people who utterly ruined their lives by using crack cocaine. There is nothing about this despicable drug that is good. If Satan was a drug dealer, he would sell crack cocaine.

7.) Methamphetamine usually is made by people who are not expert chemists. They mix all sorts of dangerous chemicals to come up with methamphetamine. I consider methamphetamine to be one of the most dangerous drugs to abuse because it is made by people who are horribly unreliable. You have no idea what sort of chemicals – including toluene, acetone, and many other solvents, that a methamphetamine dealer might have used to make the drug. Lots of substances act as stimulants, and dealers have been known to use many very dangerous ingredients to make methamphetamine. Some of those ingredients kill people.

8.) I think it is reasonable to be curious about all of these drugs. I also think it is totally asinine ever to use any of them. I have met many many people who have used recreational drugs, many of whom have utterly demolished their lives by drug abuse. I never have met a single one of them who says – after he is sober, that he is glad he started using drugs.

9.) That jackass counselor on the TV show “South Park” is right about drugs
when he just says, “M’Kay children, drugs are BAD, very BAD, M’Kay.”
It can not be said any more accurately or sensibly – recreational drug use is a lousy idea that is just plain bad for anyone who does it.

If this is not clear, please ask me to explain better.

A sober life is a better adventure than any drug can give you.

Peace be with you.
