What Is the Probability of Failing a Drug Test if You Do Not Use Drugs?

Question by Andrew: What is the probability of failing a drug test if you do not use drugs?
My probability professor claims that it is pretty high for most drug tests, but I have not been able to find any information on it and whenever I do a search I just find a bunch of drug users wanting to know the probability that they will fail. If anyone could give me any information on this I would really appreciate it.
By high I mean, he claims that it is about 30%, which I find to be pretty scary.

That;s incorrect.

it is much less than 10%

mistakes DO happen, but NOT very often.

HOWEVER, if you use PRESCRIPTION durgs, you MIGHT fail the test. That is OK — be prepared to show your prescription as proof that you take that drug legally. You can get a copy of the prescription from your pharmacist.
