What Is the Difference Between Crack Cocaine and Ice(meth-Amphetamines)?

I gather cocaine and meth is very similar, other than that ice is longer acting and usually stronger. However apart from duration, is ice and crack pretty much the same???
I guess I meant in effects, rather than how its made.
