What Have I Done to Deserve Such a Bad Childhood?

Question by huh: What have I done to deserve such a bad childhood?
Im 16 now but starting when I was 8, my parents divorced, I lost contact with half of my family, was sexually abused for a couple of years, had to watch my stepdad and sister fight to the point where the police were involved etc etc… I mean, Im ok now and I have put the past behind me and most people say that I’m the happiest person they have ever met because Im always smiling but what did I ever do in my life that I deserved to be abused and all of that starting at the mere young age of 8??? I go to church every sunday, I have never commited any major sins, I dont take part in drugs or any other typical “teenager” things and I dont give my parents much trouble. Why do bad things happen to good people?

because we live in a sin filled world. Satan does not disciminate. If anything he likes to knock down people who are christian. However, God loves you very much!
