What Does a Newcomer Do at an NA Meeting?
Question by Bonny: What does a newcomer do at an NA meeting?
I’m an emotional wreck. I’ve used cocaine and I’ve developed an addiction. It’s been ongoing for three months. I’m going to my very first NA meeting this evening.
What should I expect? Are they going to ask me to tell them why i’m there in front of everyone? I don’t think I could. I’d probably break down mid sentence. Can I just sit and listen? Should I talk?
sweetness-Thanks for your encouragement. I need it.
