What Degree Is Required to Become a Psygologist? ?

Starting tonight I am going to school full time for addiction services. Its an associates degree,however most addiction counselors make less then 40grand a year. I would like to go to school to be an Addiction Psychologist.

What degree would I need, like would a masters be ok? And would it be 6 or 8 years? Thank you!

You need a bachelor degree in psychology, and then a masters degree. Starting with an associates is okay, but after those 2 years, you will need to transfer to a 4-year college for 2 more years. A masters degree will take 2-3 years more, and if you want to get a Ph.D., it will be another year or 2. Good luck!
