What Can I Use in Lieu of Cigarettes?
Question by Pluto: What can I use in lieu of cigarettes?
So I don’t actually smoke cigarettes and have no interest in doing so. However, I have a lot of friends in similar challenging career paths and also at college (I am an engineering student) and smoke cigarettes often to handle the stress. I would also like some sort of crutch to keep me sane as well but I don’t wish to smoke, does anyone know an alternative that will deliver similar effects?
Side notes:
•Please don’t suggest anything that will make me drowsy for that will defeat the purpose as I’m looking to do this while doing my massive amounts of homework
•I’m not willing to fold and start smoking cigs
•I’m not against smoking something else as long as it is not as chemically based or as unhealthy as cigarettes (herbal potables are perfectly acceptable in my mind as long as they are effective)
•I’m not counting self masterbation as a suggestion (as it has been offered as a suggestion before)

Before i got pregnant i tried desperately to quit smoking a noticed i had kind of an oral fixation. Sunflower seeds helped me a lot! The constant back and forth motion to the mouth was good, gum is also pretty good. I also tried these herbal I’ve my boyfriend bought me they were called “ecstasy” they have a butterfly on the pack and they are tobacco and nicotine free. They smell like insents and aren’t too bad.
