The Adolescent years are among the most meaningful of the lifespan in terms of overall development, health, and well-being. Considering all the issues faced in the adolescent years, (puberty, peer group affiliation, autonomy, substance abuse, suicidal ideations, body image, sexuality, self-esteem, self-concept, etc…) discuss and defend your impression of the two most meaningful issues to be addressed in adolescence.

The two most meaningful issues to be addressed in adolescence (I think) are teen pregnancy and drug abuse. I believe that teens need to continue to be more aware of teenage pregnancy and the downfall of becoming pregnant at an early age (re: finacial responsibilities, welfare responsibilities). I also believe that adolescents need to continue to be aware of drug abuse and how these drugs affect their lives and how the focus on drug abuse needs to change to enlightening on other positive aspects of living life positively.
