with increasing trends of stress and alienation people often entrapped in the drug addiction , some takes that due to peer pressure and some just to have fun, so what you think are harmful effects of these drugs and how we can overcome that ?

These drugs waste valuable time and money. Both cocaine and heroin screw up the body’s dopamine system. As people take them more and more, their body gets adapted to the drug and tolerant. Thus, they need more to get a high, and off of the drug, they crave the drug both psychologically and physically. Their bodies eventually can’t function well without the drug. The side effects of a drug, after taking it and getting off it, are basically withdrawal symptoms. They are the opposite effect of the drug, in a sense. You can also overdose and die with too much of the drug. With marijuana, there’s not as much risk as heroin or coke, but it’s still a waste of time and its effects, even though they can’t be felt after 24 hours, can still slow down reaction time and lead to accidents (according to scientific research).

You can overcome the negative side effects (which often are permanent or long-lasting) by not taking the drug.
