What Are the Effects of Adderall?

Question by AuroraOz: What are the effects of Adderall?
I never thought I had ADHD but I had heard that it can help with school work so I tried adderall from a friend. I found it to some interesting effects. The first was that I became extremly motivated. In one day I cleaned my room, went jogging, studied for a final, and ran a bunch of errands. I felt amazing.
The second was that I was more emotional that usually. Mostly I just felt very euphoric although when something small annoyed me I over reacted a bit. This next part I find interesting: I found adderall helpful when doing only certain kinds of schoolwork. For example, I did really well with stuff like memorization and studying but when I had to write an essay it was awful. I tried writing essays twice when I was on adderall and they were probably the worst pieces of crap I have ever written (I have to admit I am a terrible writer so this may have something to do with it). So my real question is: Are these effects normal? If this worked correctly on me does this mean I have ADHD?

You should of written better actually. When you’re on adderal, it’s fun to read. VERY FUN. Yeah, when I was on it, I was extremely motivated, I studied a lot(got excellent grades) and was still able to work and lose 50 lbs, all in one semester! Adderal is good, but, I wouldn’t stay on it for long. It’s very addictive. And, yes, you get annoyed very easily. I have been off it, but I think I can concentrate longer now than when before I was on it. Memorizing was a lot easily with adderal though. I had this one class where all you did was memorize 100 facts for test, and I missed 3 out of 300. It works well for memorizing. It doesn’t mean that you had ADD. But, you still could have.
