Trying to Get Full Custody. Please Help Me!?

Question by lea921: Trying to get full custody. Please help me!?
My two kids and I moved out of state with my new husband. My ex is getting out of the military and is wanting to pick them up and take them back home (which is 14 hours one way). I told him “no. they haven’t seen you in a year and last I saw of you, you were an alcoholic with and gambling addiction”. He has been to counceling for both and anger issues about 2 years ago.

I want to take him back to court for full custody. I told him that he could come and spend Christmas with us (in another state) but i wasn’t going to let him take my kids out of state because they don’t know him and i don’t trust him. We have joint as me as the domicary parent with visitation unspecified. What should I do????? My kids are the world. We have them in private school, sports, and church. Please give me some good advice!!!!
