Stop on interstate renders âKhatâ rarity
HALIFAX — An immigrant from Haiti coming up the interstate from Florida is being held in the Halifax County Detention Center after authorities said he was carrying tens of thousands of dollars worth of drugs, including the locally rare hallucinogen Khat.
