Question by Unknown: Someone I know…Drug and depression…..?
I know someone that has done Meth in the pass and I am not sure if he is still using. However, I think he is going through depression and he is anti-social. He has no face expression and if he does its very rare. I have just taken him in to live with me and my husband because his family is not really there. He is REALLY REALLY indecisive when I want to take him out and he is kind of random. Example: if we want to take him out he says he wants to go home, then five seconds later he goes can i move my stuff to your house? Its definitely confusing…now last night I found a piece of rolled up foil hidden (no residue)…I see that he has travel packet of medicine pills in his bag and scotch tape?? What for? Well thats why I am asking for advice and what the heck is going on?
He is a good family friend Note: I have tried to ask him questions and he has lied and is not honest with me. When his family or I get him help he would cooperate, however when it comes to the appointment to see a therapist or a doctor he said he doesnt need to go. He lays on the coach all day and hardly eats and walks around like a zombie.

That is very nice that that you have taken this sick person under your wing. Be careful – addicts can be manipulating. steal, lie and take advantage. I would not enable him – make things too comfy…..you then might have a hard time getting him out of the house.

He needs professional help – probably a good detox unit that has rehab (I’m sure you know this). But he might not admit that he does nor have plans to rehabilitate. Be careful
