Rasmussen College – Green Bay held a "Healthy Heart" Clinic on February 26, 2009, for Healthy Heart Month. This was a campus-wide event.

**Success Strategies students contributed by making "How stress effects the heart" posters.

**Medical Terminology students made posters about various cardiac conditions.

**Medical Assistant students contributed by taking participants’ blood pressures before and after a 5-minute chair massage.

**Massage Therapy students contributed by providing 5-minute chair massages.

33 people signed up for this 1-hour event. There were 8 MT students & 4 MA students participating.

Munchlet’s Ear

I cleaned Munchlet’s ears Friday night after his last case of bad wax and figured he could wait till this week to see the vet. Well after only two days his ear was covered in this gross wax again. I’m pretty sure he has ear mites. I ran to the store and got him over the counter medication. The vet wasn’t in yesterday since it was a holiday, so I guess he has to wait another day to go.
