For what it’s worth, there is no such thing as a sex addict. There are very insecure people who use sex as a means of validating themselves. They rarely succeed in making the transition to a state of security and contentment in who they are. If that worthwhile goal is to be achieved, it will take a deep and enduring commitment to therapy.
