Science of Abuse?
Question by Snow Man: Science of abuse?
Hello
I noticed that on the internet or in the library, there is no where that there’s such a science dedicated to studying abuse.
Medicine studies health problems.
Psychology studies the mind.
Mathematics studies numbers and quantities
and so on
But there isn’t one for abuse.
People don’t seem to want to dedicate a discipline to abuse sciences.
I created it…
Absiology “The science of abuse and it’s prevention”.
I thought that it would fail, I had no idea that it would work so well it would produce leaps and bounds in my progression.
This is a science worth studying.
What do you think?
I have even come up with something that could save many people’s lives!
I have saved one life from abuse before.
This is exiting!

There is a sub-sub-sub section in the Dewey decimal system. Ask your librarian about the “Cataloging In Publication” (CIP) codes in books on abuse, and you will find the general category. (There you will also find books and articles on other kinds of abuse, including spousal abuse.)
I have written on child abuse and sexual abuse, I have friends who have written on those topics, and I know of and have read many books on the topics.
Don’t mean to burst your bubble, and am glad that you have an interest in abuse.
