San Diego area transit cuts discount passes for rehab riders
OCEANSIDE , Calif. — The North County Times reports that on Tuesday, the North County Transit District board of directors voted to eliminate discounts for riders enrolled in drug and alcohol-treatment programs.

Portland police officer will undergo treatment after getting caught driving drunk and with a glass of booze in his car
Portland police officer Scott Dunick, an 18-year member of the force, drove up to an East Precinct officer at 2:30 a.m. last month and began talking to her. Police reports don’t indicate why he approached the officer, but she immediately noticed he was drunk.
