I have Asperger Syndrome, but a MD will NOT diagnose me as having AS since MD’s do not understand or know about it. I’m seeing an MD at a mental health clinic and she will not diagnose me with AS either. I was diagnosed with GAD in 2003 and depression in (I think) 1990 or 1991.
