Question for Those in Recovery From Alcohol or Drugs?

I am going to attempt my first date ever in sobriety so the whole dating without drugs or alcohol is a new concept. Is there anyone else in recovery that has any tips on dating without the mind altering devices? I guess I have two fears and those are using again and/or using sex or love to get high. Let me know if you have any advice.
