Question by Nana in need: my daughters a drug addict and is abusing her child! i cant tell cyfs because ther partner will kill me. HELP!?
My daughter is a drug addict and has been for a long time. she has had 6 children and 5 of them are in foster homes. and the 6th child is 2 years old and is living with her.
i am currently living with my daughter at the moment as a supervisor to make sure she doesnt take drugs or harm her child in anyway.
i thought i was doing the right thing because i was convinced she had been clean for years!

but when i started living with her i realized that she is taking tipple the amount of drugs that she used too!
she doesn’t bother with cleaning and the house is filthy. not a good place for the child. also the child keeps hurting her self of broken glass and needles hidden around the house. i keep cleaning up but when i get back from work its just as bad!
Im trying my hardiest to protect my grandchild from my daughter but its no use! they treat her very rough and i wish i could tell cyfs! BUT I CANT because my daughter and her crazy druggd up partner have beaten me and told me that if i so much as breath a word to cyfs or ANYONE they will use their many gang related connections to beat me, torture me, and possibly kill me. i know this may sound like an empty threat. but they are crazy and would do this sort of thing.

ALSO i cant ask someone else to ring cyfs because i am the only one who knows what terrible things are going on in their house! so i would go to jail for like “withholding information” or something and my daughter would think it was me who “told on them” anyway!
iv sold my house so i can help my daughter. (thinking she was clean) and i have NO WARE i can hide if i do ring cyfs.

i have no idea what to do! all i want to do is find a way i can take my grandchild as far away as i can where my daughter wont find us! i want to watch as least one of my grandchildren grow up and be safe.

PLEASE HELP! and give advice on ways i could protect my grandchild without them knowing till its too late!!

Why not just take the kid out of the home, go to a friends house, call and tell them whats going on
