According to the book, by investigative reporter Jeff Benedict, “Out of Bounds: Inside the NBA’s Culture of Rape, Violence & Crime.” 40 percent of the American players in the NBA during the 2001-02 season had police records involving a serious crime.
I used to enjoy NBA basketball and had a real passion for the sport. But in recent years, the NBA has been taken over by thugs. Over 40% of NBA players have criminal records ranging from drugs to physical abuse. The role models are gone and the sport has less and less attendance.
