Q&A: Does Anyone Else Out There Think That HOUSE Is the Most Ridiculous Doctor Show on TV?

Question by QNA: Does anyone else out there think that HOUSE is the most ridiculous doctor show on TV?
1. There are so many patients with an unusual constellation of signs and symptoms that bring up such numerous and obscure diagnoses which the doctor team just can’t seem to narrow down without initiating an improbable combination of diagnostic tests and “empirical treatments.”

2. Where on earth do residents / fellows / attendings act as jack-of-all-trades: they manage the patients, do the CT scans, do the laboratory assays, and even get to play CSI and make personal visits to patient’s houses to look for whatever substance may have caused the patient’s condition?

3. And where in the modern world are doctors allowed to act like House without getting slapped with a major lawsuit???

I know it’s fiction, but come on. It’s just too ridiculous to be taken seriously…
