Q&A: Bipolar Teenager, Etc Etc… Any NON Medical Treatments?

Question by Animal Liberation Front: Bipolar teenager, etc etc… Any NON medical treatments?
With the exception of “Therapy” (Which is a bunch of bull, all they do is try hospitalizing me,) “Medications” which make me sick, and “yoga/meditation” which don’t do anything for me… Anything I can do to make my manic/depressive bad feelings any better? Don’t tell me to seek help. FYI to all you people with similar problems as me- Don’t seek help. Help sucks.

I love weed but Im broke, I dont smoke because I made a promise to my friend, and alcohol makes me feel worse.

I cant go do anything that requires being 18+ or 21+, I just turned 15, so please think household techniques and the like I can use to feel better.

My mental conditions-

Major Depressive
Bipolar (Most dont have depression and bipolar… Im weird according to the shrink)
OCD (Im weird…)
MINOR schizophrenia (Not flaring as much lately)

Any help appreciated.
The medication was tested on animals, which is a big no-no, it also changes my mood to a dry unhappiness even after long term use.

Also, hospitalization for a long enough period to change my school setting and fuck up college means I kill myself. 🙂

Also, the guitar thing. GREAT Idea. Really. But my parents want to institutionalize me. No way theyll pay for anything but the train tickets to keep me in school from 5am to 6 pm, and my food. Yay bare minimum.
My first guitar… I didn’t clean my room fast enough. My dad took and and BROKE IT over my leg. I still dont walk right.

dude- seriously meds is the best way to go. if they hospitalized you it was for a reason. i know people with your same problems and it hurts alot of people to see you without being on your meds- i am sure your family cares if they are around. sometimes the meds take time for your body to adjust and energy to be normal, meds to kick in, etc- or if it is too much, see if they can decrease the dose or change meds to ones with less side effects. good luck to you.
oh- exercise helps a little bit- but not enough to make you feel normal.
