Drug sharing a problem for WV
In West Virginia, where prescription drug abuse and the subsequent consequences have increased 300 percent in the past decade, more than 60 percent of prescription drug abusers say that family and friends are helping further their addiction.

Report: Family violence rates high in area
The area has some of the highest rates in the state for drug- and alcohol-related arrests, child abuse investigations and elder abuse reports, according to a report that provides a locality-by-locality breakdown of measures of family violence, and consolidates information about how violence affects a wide range of people from children to the elderly.
