On Parole and Got in Trouble?
Question by Jasonswife06: On Parole and got in trouble?
My friend is on parole for Meth. He was busted over 7 years ago and has done good since. He was scheduled to get off in Dec. Today he was pulled over and he had some MaryJane on him. Since he had that on him, it allowed cops to search his house. In the house they found a pipe for smoking “green” and some stems and seeds. They also found a small baggy that had a trace of meth residue. I am serious when I say that he does not do the “white stuff” anymore. They found it in an old box in his closet. He said he doesnt even know how long it had been there. Of course they tested him and he was neg. Now he is in jail on a white warrant. His parole officer said he wont know more of what is going to happen until he gets the police report. But they have charged him with another Y felony. What do you think is going to happen? Please be serious because I am VERY upset about this. He has a great job, has not been in any trouble in a VERY VERY long time.

I think he’s going to jail for a long time. Probation is a promise to not break the law if they let you go free. Your friend broke the law. So, he’s given up his right to be free.
