Oiled birds get help in Hammond
A gull flies in one of several enclosed pens at the Hammond Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Birds affected by the BP oil leak remain at the center for an average of about two weeks. When ready, they are released into the wild along the western Louisiana coast.
