Some felons to choose prison or treatment
TUCSON – The federal government is giving Pima County $ 1,000,000 to offer residential drug treatment to certain felons as an alternative to prison. Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall and other criminal justice officials announced the program at a news conference Thursday.
