Richmond Waste Water Treatment Tank

My community health clinical group had a "field trip" to the Richmond waste water treatment plant. This is what was in one of the tanks. Gross, no? Later on, after being pumped and recycled full of chemicals, it becomes the water we drink and bathe in.
