Question by Paty: My friend has been taking Xanax without Rx should i be worried?
My friend has been going thru what she believes is a rough patch in life. recently i know that she has dropped out of school and other personal problems have arrived. I learned from a friend that she has began taking xanax and it is not prescribed to her.

i have no clue what it can do to her, and i dont know what to say to her. shes only began it within the last month i dont know exactly when she started but it is in the time frame. what can i do!?!

It is an addictive drug. She is trying to mask her problems with drugs rather than deal with them. Do her parents know that she is using illegal drugs? Someone in authority needs to have an intervention with her.
