Meth Mouth – Dental Training Video

A dental hygienist and a dentist who has worked in the prison system describe the conditions that dental professionals may encounter in the mouths of their patients who may have used Meth. Dental professionals also need to consider the safety of themselves and their staff (paranoia and violent outbursts), as well as their patients (interactions with medications and anesthesia, etc.) The video also raises these important issues. Finally, the video also addresses the reality of abuse and neglect of children in homes where Meth is used, made or sold, and provides guidance to dental professionals on what to do if they know or suspect Meth use of a patient who they know to also parent, especially young children, including how and where to report suspected abuse and neglect cases. HEY EVERYBODY!! I DID IN FACT WRITE THIS POEM. RESPECT MY RIGHTS, AND DO NOT COPY THIS ANYWHERE. this is Ellefish from cosPOPproductions. but lets take a more serious note– this is a poem i wrote in the 9th grade. it is honestly, one of the best poems i’ve written. it was written for someone i care a lot about, who was a user, of meth. that person is completly recovered now, but it was a hard time in my life, and her life. I wrote this poem to show, how meth is a terrible, life ruining drug. I do not support drug use in any way…in fact, i’m completly against it. Please, pass on the word. Make the promise to yourself, and to people who love you, that you will never use meth.
