Beneficial advice will be appreciated. I came across the following :

The site says :
“Some call them “Neo-Salafis”, some call them “Saudi-Salafis”, some even call them “Sufi-Salafis” – by whatever name you know them, it is pretty easy to spot them. They are the ones whose self-righteousness sickens those who come close to them, whose bad manners taint the most basic of their arguments and whose defence of the Saudi ruler, Fahd “Abu Righaal” corrupts their understanding of Islam. Their most outspoken website is Salafi Publications.com, which you will notice, attacks every Muslim who works for reform, or who simply differs with them in minor matters.”

The reason for this is that a certain user here, ABU HAROON, (see his profile page if you think i am mistaken) amongst possibley others promotes this website as an authentic source for learning islam. And while we do not disagree with everything the website contains, it does contain some things which are unfortunately extremely deviant and muslims should be aware of it !

– The “Golden Letter” of al-‘Alaamah Bakr Abu Zaid to Rabee’ al-Madkhali
– The Refutation Against the Lies of Al-Anbaree and the Clarification of the Fasaad of the Basis of his Meth`haab in Al-Irjaa’ By Shaikh Hamood al-‘Uqlaa (rahimahullaah)

Last question,
How important is it for muslims to be aware of the un-salafi practices of some people calling themselves salafi and having websites titled “Salafipublications” ? Is informing other muslims of this so they are aware and do not fall into error something good or evil ?

@ ABU HAROON, from the sound principles of discussion is that you don’t bring an accused to defend another accused !! that is plain ignorance !! Its like saying Santa exists because Batman told me he does !!
So your using Madhkhalee in defending Salafipublications is like that !
If you seek the truth, then the fatawaa etc presented should be sufficient, insha’allaah !

Likewise, with others that have a little more brain capacity than attempting to insult me by saying it looks like i was bullied etc, and then saying HAHAHAHAHAHAAAH (yes you NOUB) .. for those with more brain capacity than this and the willingness to read and learn and objectively analyse things, the presented information should be sufficient bi-ithnillaah !

just because someone claims to be following salafi methodolgy does NOT mean they do, and just because someone claims to be salafi does not mean they are !!
Salafi is not a label you can stick on yourself and label anyone who opposes with you as not being from it !!!
The problem you seem to have, as well as Abu Haroon, is that you can’t refute what is presented so you resort to personal attacks of me ~~!!!
BUT those muslims here who use their brains can see that you are attacking me instead of showing why the info I presented is wrong !

I don’t have a problem in them revealing the evil of the mushrik munafiq shias ! (I am saying this about those particular shias who do this.. as for the rest, they should study and accept the complete islam, the way of the sunnah, sunni, true salafi islam)

Show me where, by giving a link to the fatwaa or release, or typing it here, what Shaykh Abu Zayd said and i will try to verify it.
YOUR claiming things don’t mean much…. I also had respect for you and still do but not as much when I saw you and Abu Haroon and others defending Saudi Arabia’s corrupt king and so on.. and making irjaa statements regarding the King which you did… really shameful ! But what is the outcome to be expected when the shuyookh you may follow are the palace scholars… now, what has the salaf told us about scholars / shaykhs sitting with kings ?? Don’t be shy now as you seem very outspoken on other matters, especially defending the deviant, the corrupt, king of saudi !
