Question by Beth: Is there reason to be suspicious of my neighbors?
Several weeks ago, new neighbors moved on the other side of our duplex. At first, we had no reason to be suspicious; it was just a woman in her thirties and her young son. She covered the windows of her garage, supposedly because of a “crazy ex-husband”, yet, some time ago, she quit parking her car in her garage altogether. She is in the garage until late in the morning and we are hearing a lot of noises. She is frequently having people, who live locally, stay over. We’re just starting to get worried if she is doing something illegal, such as a meth lab or something else. Of the signs we have researched, there most obvious are that she has people constantly over, they are often out smoking and leaving their children to cause commotion which we can hear, and the late night working.

Has anyone ever experienced that with neighbors? Is there anything to look out for? I was thinking about talking to my landlady, but she seems to deny anything we bring up to her about this tenant.
The windows are covered some kind of paper. Not sure exactly, but it definitely isn’t tin foil. Whatever it is – we can’t see through it at all.
