In Today’s Military Zero Tolerance for Drug Abuse?

Question by theDude: in today’s military zero tolerance for drug abuse?
, it is not uncommon to find service members being convicted of substance abuse, i for one, am pending a UCMJ for such things. i know I’m gonna get backlash from all sorts of patriots, but this question is intended to rear to anyone in the legal department and superior commanders with experience with such situations. I’m as of right now is a young E-5, who went down a dark path as many of us has and ready to admit that I have a problem due to circumstances that i couldn’t control. My life is in ruin but I want to ensure that I have some light at the end of the tunnel before i go any deeper. i considered suicide and other things. Very depressed for the last 2 years, i cannot seem to get out of this slump. please anyone that is willing to give some advice, and for all that supports me on the suicide part, i don’t blame you, i would do it if i have no other choice, this is a serious matter for me. i honestly have to live with the shame of it regardless of the past efforts i ever put into the military. that being said, I’m an 11B2P. not saying that this is of concern but from someone’s perspective that can be productive for me to sustain myself in a manner where i can contribute back to society again on good terms……….please help.
