If They Suggest I Go to Rehab, What Happens?

Question by : If they suggest I go to rehab, what happens?
Hi I’m a 21 year old girl.. I typically drink one night, every 2 weeks. When I drink I will have two beers maximum. I’m not a big drinker, alchohol makes me tired. Im notorious for being the DD.. and I am a good kid. Yet in December I got a DUI.. because I had 3 beers.. I called a cop because i could not find my car and he arrested me (yes dumb I know but we all make mistakes.) I had to speak to these counselors because it was a court mandated Assessment to see whether i have a problem with alchohol and drugs. The counselor said, “Look, you 21, we dont expect you to stop drinking we just dont want you to drink and drive.. and we need to make sure your not on any other drugs”. … so the other day i had a drug test, and the night before it was my bestfriends birthday, and i had a beer. So alcohol came up positive on my test. My counselor wrote a letter to the court saying since my test came up positive for alcohol, that they are going to suggest I go to an impatient rehab center for 4 months to “Detox”. My friends and family think this is absurd considering I do not drink. This test was taken 4 months after my DUI arrest. This is not fair, and completely inaccurate. Tomorrow when i go to court, are they going to force me to go to rehab or is it my right to get a second opinion from some other program.
-No……. I am by law allowed to drink. There was nothing saying I wasnt allowed to drink. I thought it was a drug test. I didnt know I wasnt supposed to be drinking.

Nothing inaccurate about the test. You came up positive because you drank like a retard. You knew you had a drug test and you still drank. That alone tells me you’re still dumb enough to get behind the wheel drunk. You don’t need rehab you need a boot in the butt and your license needs to suspended for 5+ years.
