I Was Wondering if Anyone Knows if You Can Admit an Adult in to Rehab Against Their Will?

A Loved one in my family needs help for drug abuse but wont go to rehab. I can’t sit by and watch them kill their self can I admit them against their will . If I can How ? I was told I couldnt is this true?
