Question by Tamara Divine: i was a heavy meth user, and am now 5years clean. however although i want to forget living in that nightmare..?
there is one thing that i would like to know- that is what i experienced…was this an overdose?
.here are a list of what my symptoms were;
-was lying on the couch, could not move
-left arm and hand tingling
-could barely see
-felt like i was in this world, then would blank out, then in this world etc
-felt confused
-my best friend tried to give me water, dropped the cup
-my best friend tried to feed me water, could not swallow-dribbled down my chin
-heart rate very very fast
-chest pains, like someone was squeezing my heart
that is all i can remember, and i really thought i was going to die.
would be grateful for any answers : )

Yeah, that definitely sounds like an overdose. Don’t know as much about meth overdoses, but that sounds exactly like what would happen if you OD’d on cocaine. How long ago did this happen? I hope you’re getting yourself out of that lifestyle, cuz I know how difficult addiction is, but if you go back, it sounds like you’re already swirling the drain, and coming dangerously close to killing yourself. Addiction, man. One thing sums it up well: addiction is when too much isn’t enough.
