I Just Found Out My Husband Is an Opiate Addict?

Question by Chelsea F: i just found out my husband is an opiate addict?
so, my husband came clean to me this week that he has a problem with taking opiates….morphene pills, oxiconton, and whatever pills i’ve never even heard of. i just wanted to know if anyone else has gone through this…he goes to a dr. in two days for rehab…i’m just havin a hard time coping.

My mom has been addicted to tons of street drugs and prescripton pills. rehab doesnt always work the first time and it will be hard to deal with if it doesnt happen the first one. the biggest thing to remember is to give lots of love and support to him, try to be understanding even if its hard but, dont be to soft. Be firm in your stand agesnt his continued use
