Question by Amanda: How should I tell my friend that I know she’s lying?
She puts pictures on Facebook of boys and girls kissing, and she says that it’s her and her boyfriend. The girls in the pictures KIND of look like her, but barely. She puts as captions stuff like “I look so short in this picture” and “man my skin is light here”, but I know that it’s obviously not her, and I’m sure everyone else does.
I’m not really looking to be nice about it either, I just want a cunning way to say “I know you’re lying, you lame-o” but I don’t want to say it like that. How should I say it?
p.s. She’s lied to me numerous times, and she admits it. Like first she told me all this crap about her life and her “life story” (she was raped, her mom abuses her, she did drugs, she had 3 abortions, blah blah blah) then she told me it was a lie, and THEN she told me it wasn’t, and this is where we are now. I’m just sick of her lying and I want to let her know that I know she’s lying. In a clever way.

Just ask to meet the boyfriend. She’ll probably say that he lives out of state, or something. Then ask her when a particular photo was taken. After that response, point out to her that she hadnt left at that time etc.
