In refrence to Landis, He tested positive on Thursday, but clean on Friday. If testosterone is going to work, shouldn’t it stay in your system?

depends on the type, and if it was in a cycle or not, there hasn’t been much information releases based on what type of synthetic testosterone was found in his system but there are synthetics that are (shots in the arm or.. boost of nitrous) that would be a good reason why his test were negative pre stage (17?) and positive after the race, then passed a day later. Most athletes don’t use this type of steroid when they know there is “after event testing” this is seen more in football, baseball and hockey players although amphetamines are the norm now due to fewer side effects and more difficult testing.
