This is a question movies have made me curious about… assuming no drug overdose, and a reasonable attempt to keep working and earning money to pay for it… how long could a person continue to use a drug like cocaine and remain a semi-functioning member of society? Is it indefinite, or will the addiction eventually bring a person down regardless?
