Question by revtlee: How does one repair a casement window crank?
We have casement windows in our bedroom and the crank on one is worn, its “gears” don’t catch any more. Is there a way to repair this or do I need to replace the whole mechanism?

i would try drilling a hole where the screw is on the handle all the way through. then get a cotter pin and put in there and see if that works. i don’t know of any blue that would work. i suppose if you really wanted to you could weld the handle on there.
