Question by bettyboo4023: How do I detox from being on medication after surgery?
I tried to look up “medication detox” but all i came up with was drug rehab and stuff….i just got my wisdom teeth out so i’ve been on hydrocodone and advil for a little over a week now. It’s been nonstop! When I was on advil every 4 hours, I had to take 2 pills! And same with the hydrocodone while I was taking it. I’m also on an antibiotic and I just hate being on all these medications! I’ve never been on so many in my life…any detox suggestions???? Thanks!

Take them for as long as it says on the bottle. Opium doesn’t stay in the body past 4 days. There’s no need to detox.
