How Do I Convince My Mom to Let Me Go on Anti-Depressants?

Question by susie: How do I convince my mom to let me go on anti-depressants?
My mom thinks that I’m not depressed and that this is a cry out for attention and she tells me that a sixteen year old has no reason to be depressed. I’ve tried to get rid of my depression naturally, but it seems like its getting worse. I don’t have the energy to do anything and I don’t want to do anything anymore. My mom is dead set against pills, so how can I convince her to at least let me try it?
