I want to work with organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Celebrate Recovery or something like. What should I be studying in school?

AA and CR don’t have counselors, they have sponsors. You don’t get paid for it and first you need to become a raging alcoholic.

Twenty years ago, all a person needed to do was have a year clean through AA or NA and someone to vouch for them, today you need real training.
