Heroine and Addiction, Does Anyone Ever Rehabilitate Themselves or Is the Cause Lost?
Question by defenseonly: Heroine and addiction, Does anyone ever rehabilitate themselves or is the cause lost?
First and foremost, I am an intelligent educated individual, who happened to make a choice, and from choice there conequences. I have a child by a man who is addicted to variety of substances, I have not nor will I reconile differances with him to form a complete family unit.
My heart has ached becuase it is my son who will never understand any of this, he is 5 yrs old. His father hasnt been in my life due to his lifestyle, I do believe boys need solid role models in there lives. HIs biological father hasnt been one.
HIs father was incarcerated on drug charges and spent 3 years in a correctional facility. I prayed that God would heal him of this demon, He was released on Tuesday and I could tell that he wasnt humbled, and my son did see for the first time in 5years, well, his dad is no where to be found, we know what that means. DRUGS
I WILL NOT RECONCILE DIFFERANCES romantically!
How do I tell my son that his dad who he’s never known will not be allowed to be is daddy right now?
SORRY ABOUT GRAMMATICAL ERRORS, MY MIND IS EMOTIONALLY AND SPIRITUALLY BROKEN
Should I notify his parole officeror drive him to a rehab, you cant make someone due whats beyong there will. I have struggled for 5 years and persevered, well I must continue on whats another 5 years or 10 or 15, his loss, my sone I will prevail and overcome thorough support, I guess I wont allow and source of contact he has made his bed both will lie in it, looks like he’s back to 3 hots and a cot

if he hasn’t been humbled…I’d start with a restraining order…an unfit dad is not a dad ! find someone who has their act together to be also a decent father figure….5 years is too young to explain these matters…you need to take control !…good luck
