As former Niles Mayor Nicholas Blase is finishing up his time at a halfway house in the Chicago area until his March 2 release date, the goal there is to get inmates back on their feet and reconnected with family and the community, explained Chris Burke, spokesman for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
