Fortney sentenced in Front Street arson
MARIETTA – Minutes before his sentencing hearing was to begin, convicted arsonist John C. Fortney, 21, of Lowell, talked candidly with his family members about the crime, including the role of a second person who has yet to be charged in the March 22 fire that gutted a section of Front Street buildings and businesse.
