I was in a serious relationship with a guy for a long time I have known him for 20 years now.We knew each other and were involved ever since we both were in out twenties.I lost touch with him for a while I have relocated cities ever since.Recently he got in touch with me and wants to come see me,The thing is even 20 years ago he was still getting his self together and it looks like he is to this day the thing i found out about him is that he is using meth and has been for a while now i dont use drugs and dont like it around me he has no job and still lives with his mother and is 41 years old now.I broke up with him because he drank to much at the time and was doing nothing with his life and looks like he still is not doing anything.should i even give him the time of day? i do still care about him but not sure if i should see him when he comes to my state.any advice opinions please?

I’m speaking as woman to woman, what life would you really have with a meth head that doesn’t have a job, is 41 years old, and lives with his momma? Really, what kind of everyday life would you live if you were both married? Would he abuse you and make your life miserable? I think he would. He’s on drugs, he’s not worth it. Girl, don’t take chances with this guy, he could turn out to be a big looser. Just tell him that you can’t see him. Tell him you need to do something. On the weekends, spend the night at a friend’s house or go rent a room at the hotel, just in case. Don’t have anything to do with him.
