A friends child has just finished the D.A.R.E. program in his school and in talking with his mom he told her that he was taught that marijuana is addictive. Having spent a good portion of my youth stoned (by choice, not because I was addicted) I think they are teaching kids miss information.
If we are going to teach our kids about drugs, shouldn’t we tell them the truth?
When they find out we lied to them about pot, isn’t it logical that they will think we lied to them about the addictiveness of cocaine, crank and heroin too?
