Do People Who Do Drugs on Television Get Arrested?

Question by starfisherelle: Do people who do drugs on television get arrested?
I was watching “TrueLife: I’m addicted to Meth”, and I was wondering if the people get arrested. They are on camera documaenting thier life on meth. They have possesion of the drugs, the dealing and distribution of the drugs, and even the actual doing of the drugs. The show is full evidence of the crimes commited and I am sure if it were a home video, and it get leaked, they would all go to jail. But since this is MTV, MTV and the people participating know the risks. But how are they not arrested afterwards? why would you do drugs on camera?

One part was where they had a hidden room in their house to do drugs because the neighbors were getting suspicious, but now they are on MTV doing drugs and talking about the room. How does that figure?
